Quality of Service

We provide our service according to these principles:

Safe & Effective - To perform our service in an effective and safe manner, informing clients of any potential risks involved in a treatment

Private & Confidential - Client health history and information are kept private and confidential

Respect & Collaboration - Practitioners and clients work together with mutual respect and dialogue openly in the treatment process

Quiet Space

In order to keep the centre a quiet, tranquil space for all clients we ask that you:

- Turn cell phones off and remove your shoes before entering the centre
- Keep your voice down and chitchat to a minimum
- Respect the privacy and space of others around you.

Payment

- We accept cash or personal cheques
- Payment is made before each treatment. (This helps us run the center more efficiently and allows you to "float out" after your treatment.)
- Prepaid treatment card and gift certificates are also available.
- We can issue you a receipt for extended health insurance. We do not do direct billing. Please check with your insurance carrier to confirm you have coverage for acupuncture.

Scheduling Treatments

- Appointments are made by phone, email or in person
- Appointments are scheduled before each treatment.

Lateness

Try to arrive 5 minutes early to prepare for your treatment. Be aware that if you are late, it will cut into your treatment time.

Cancellation

We require 24-hours notice to cancel an appointment. We only accept cancellations by phone. No emails please. You will be charged what you normally pay on the sliding scale for missed appointments.

Refunds

Six Degrees does not offer refunds on treatments or treatment packages. However, treatment packages are transferable.

Wheelchair access

Unfortunately, Six Degrees is not wheel chair accessible.
